Golf Score Keeper is designed solely to help members improve their golfing performance and maintain their statistics in a confidential manner. As such, the member's privacy is of paramount importance to Golf Score Keeper.

1. What information do we collect and why?

When you register as a Golf Score Keeper member, we ask you to provide us with your name, age, address, contact numbers, e-mail address and details of your golf game such as handicap and home course (if any). This information is used to calculate and support the aggregate score and golf performance comparisons that are used for the benefit of all Golf Score Keeper members.

We ask for your e-mail address to identify you so that we can provide the services accessible via our web site such as membership information, professional tips, performance tracking etc. This identification allows us to track your use of the Golf Score Keeper Site. Neither your e-mail address nor any other information about you (such as rounds of golf played and scores) is made available to any other player or third party without your explicit consent.

2. How is payment made?

Membership payment is made on-line via credit card. We use a secure payment gateway for credit card transactions and your credit card number is never provided to or kept by Golf Score Keeper. Golf Score Keeper operates on a paid membership basis and if you are a child under the age of 18, you must obtain permission from your parent or guardian before registering to use the site.

3. What do we do with the information and who do we provide it to?

Occasionally, we may make information such as number of site users available to advertisers. This information never relates to specific individuals and Golf Score Keeper will never distribute Members' e-mail addresses to third parties. Advertisers will never know the unique identities of Golf Score Keeper Members.

Your personal details will not be disclosed to any third party concerned but we may e-mail you from time to time with details or offers from those sponsors for new goods, services or offers that you might find interesting. You will only be notified in accordance with any opt-in choices you select.

GolfScoreKeeper will also use your e-mail address to notify you of new Golf Score Keeper developments on the Golf Score Keeper site.

4. How do we keep the information secure?

We store all information on our own servers, which are hosted in a secure environment, using firewalls and information encryption techniques.

5. How do you review or change the information we hold about you ?

If you wish to review or change your membership profile, select the My Account option on the top menu and your current data will be displayed and you can change any of the details that are shown. If you have any concerns you can e-mail us at info@golfscorekeeper.com.

6. How can you remove information we hold about you?

If you wish to remove any of your information in your profile, please e-mail Golf Score Keeper at info@golfscorekeeper.com. The e-mail must come from the same e-mail account you used to sign up for Golf Score Keeper. We will then remove any information you request.

7. What happens if we change our policy?

Golf Score Keeper may amend this policy to reflect changes in statute and other matters of good practice from time to time. If, for any reason, we make substantial changes in the way we may use your personal information, we will definitely notify you.
